Moment Rescue Wolf Does First Howl with His New Pack Is So Touching
The Apex Protection Project is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting wolves and wolf-dogs through educational experiences, rescue, and advocacy.
Their TikTok account @Apexwolves recently uploaded an amazing video of their newest wolf-dog named Rama who they rescued after his previous owners couldn't contain him in their yard.

TikTok users are fascinated and thrilled by this, and @Simply comments, "That sound touches the soul, it’s beautiful." @Jory adds, "Wolves love being wolves. You can see how peaceful and at home they are when they howl." @Gamesa adds, "Aww, it *sounds* like he howls “I love you” before he howls with his pack." @Katrina replies, "We live in the woods and I love hearing the coyotes and wolves howl!!! One of the best sounds in the world!!" Another person gushes, "Such beautiful creatures I swear." They really are!
Having a wolf, or a wolf-dog as a pet, requires someone who is familiar with the special care they need. So many people obtain these beautiful creatures and when they can't provide the care and training they require they end up having to surrender them. It's illegal for shelters to re-home these animals in many parts of the United States, so these dogs end up being euthanized.
