Moment Rescue Turkey Meets His New Companion Is Full of Pure Goodness
Rescue animals can be some of the sweetest animals out there, no matter their species or story. Just take it from the animal caretakers at @harmonyhillfarmsanct! This nonprofit sanctuary is a forever home for neglected, abandoned, and homeless farm animals, and they just got a new resident!
Their rescue turkey named Johnny has been finding himself at the farm, but their new female turkey might help give his confidence a jump start. This is just their first meeting, but it sure seems like Johnny is smitten!

How sweet! Johnny is such a gorgeous turkey, and he's absolutely strutting in front of the lady bird. Maybe he's showing off! We suppose we'll find out his true intentions once the new friends meet without the carrier in the way, but Johnny's caretakers are taking things day by day.
And that's the right move! It's impossible to guarantee how an animal will react around someone new, though Johnny has a great track record with other birds. He's had turkey companions previously, but this introduction is extra special after his last partner passed away. Luckily, things seem to be going smoothly with the new turkey around.

It sounds like Johnny's new lady friend doesn't have a name yet, but viewers will be able to vote on her name when the time is right. Someone suggested the name 'June,' like Johnny Cash's wife. How cute! Whatever her name ends up being, we're so glad she's with Johnny now!
