Moment Rescue Kinkajou Realizes She's a 'Pretty Girl' Is So Precious

Her little face is just so sweet!

The kinkajou lives in the tropical rainforests of Central and South America. It’s a member of the raccoon family. Kinkajous are also known as honey bears because they like to lap up the honey from bees' nests with their long, narrow tongues.

They are also ridiculously adorable, and TikTok user @Kinkatopia runs a kinkajou rescue and recently shared a video of precious Ariel who seems to know exactly what a pretty girl she is.

The creator explains, "Ariel is a disabled kinkajou who lives at my haven! Isn’t she the best?!" She really is, and TikTok users agree! Her little face and tongue blep are ridiculously cute. @Erikabright comments, "She’s so beautiful!! And I adore her cute little squeaks! What a pretty baby!!" @Jessbombay adds, "Not to be dramatic or anything but I would die for Ariel." @Cervine adds, "She looks like a Disney princess what!?"  "She is so cute I am gonna cry!" comments @Lena. @Lacey says something we can all agree with, "Ariel is absolute perfection. Thank you for sharing her with us!"

It isn't legal to own a kinkajou in all states, and these cute animals require special diets including fruit, leaves, insects and flowers. They also have specific cage requirements and need veterinary care from a vet familiar with exotics. They can also live to be forty years old.

Even though we aren't sure we are up for caring for one of these adorable animals, we sure wouldn't mind babysitting one for an afternoon. If Ariel ever needs a part time nanny, put us on speed dial!
