Moment Dog Rescued From Overcrowded Shelter Finally Knows He's Safe Is So Moving
Rescue dogs go through so much before they find their forever homes, so when they finally know that they're safe and sound, it can be truly magical. Just ask @canineinchtails, an avid animal rescuer with Freedom Ride Rescue who helped an unnamed pup take his freedom ride to kick off the new year. The poor pup had been at the top of his rural shelter's euthanasia list, so this rescue came just in time.
Despite being in a lot of pain due to dental negligence, this 8-year-old rescue dog was so ready to hop in the car with his angel. Now, it's time to find him a forever home!

This woman is a hero for picking up this sweet old guy. After he took some time to warm up to his new surroundings, it was easy to see how comfortable he felt. It's so inspiring how he's willing to trust her!
