Mom Takes Male Cat on 'Bonding Trip' to Bass Pro Shop and It's Priceless

Some people bond with their pet immediately. While others need to treat the situation with a little...finesse. No shame — and perhaps you could take inspiration from one cat mama, who decided to bring her male Ragdoll to a Bass Pro Shop so they could have a little one-on-one time.

It definitely makes sense to us. If the woman was going to try and bond with her boy, she wanted to go where boys like to shop.

We guess feeding Louie all his meals and cleaning his litter box wasn't cutting it, because the woman decided that their relationship was still on the rocks.

As she explained in a video online, she tried her best to take him somewhere that her cat would appreciate. Now we would've tried the pet store or perhaps she could've filled a room with cat trees and mouse toys. But going to the Bass Pro Shop was also a pretty darn good idea.

"Trying to bond with my male cat, but I don't know what men do for fun so I took him to the Bass Pro Shop," she wrote in the video's onscreen caption.

Judging by the footage, Louie the Ragdoll cat was into it. The footage shows mom and kitty walking through the aisles of the outdoor sporting goods store. Thankfully, the mom interpreted her cat's meows so we could get his real opinions on their trip.

"I want a camper," she wrote he said. "Still using hooks? How adorably archaic," he added. Okay, Louie. No need to remind us that humans don't have super handy claws like you do.

"Cats are better," Louie seemed to say. "Thank god we aren't human."

Uh oh...who's gonna tell him?

"Louie could not believe his eyes!" the video's caption reads

Fun Places to Take a Cat

If the Bass Pro Shop isn't exactly your thing, there are other fun places that you can take your cat for a fun day out.

Grab your cat careers and take your kitty shopping. Even if it's just to run and get groceries, taking your cat to the store can be both productive and a good way to get them out of the house.

Staying at a pet hotel is another great option. Not only does it allow you to bring your cat with you when you vacation, but many pet hotels will have extra special accommodations for your kitty that they won't be able to get at home.

Taking your cat for a walk in the park is a good quick way to get some fresh air. Just make sure to use a leash or harness while walking. You don't want your little guy to accidentally run away.

Now go out there and have some fun!
