Mom Swears Her Cat 'Speaks English' and the Evidence Is Tough to Deny

Many owners set up cameras to see what their pets do while they're gone. There are even fancy cameras that allow you to talk or toss treats to them. We love that idea as it would calm our anxious minds. Well, that is until something like what happened to TikTok user @nickyrosetattoo happened.

This tattoo artist was in the hospital for a few days. Luckily, her dad had been checking on the cat, but her camera still caught a heartbreaking moment when her her cat "spoke" English. Check it out!

O.M.G. It's pretty tough to deny that this cat was actually saying, "Mom, where are you?" We had to listen to it several times to make sure our ears weren't clogged. LOL! It's really cool to hear a cat talk, but this also absolutely breaks our hearts. The cat is clearly missing his mom and is so worried about where she is. We would've asked our dad to sneak the cat into the hospital if we were in this cat mom.

This isn't the first time we've heard a cat speak our language. If you listen closely enough, you might hear that your cat is already picking up on some of the phrases you say with different noises or hums. Some people are even training cats to talk. We know, that doesn't even sound possible, but apparently, it's not as hard as one might imagine.

You can bet your bottom dollar we'll be attempting to teach our cats how to talk. If you're interested in training your cat, you'll want to follow these steps. For starters, encourage your cat's verbal responses by just talking to them. Reward your cat for listening by responding with a positive phrase and gentle petting. Food treats will be introduced next once they start offering you verbal responses. Be consistent with the training and soon enough you'll be chit chatting away. We can't wait to hear what our cats have to "say." LOL!
