My Mom Is Stocking Up on Her Go-To Comfy T-Shirt While It’s Just $6 at Amazon

I recently noticed my mom wearing the same outfit every day: a slightly oversized tee, her go-to jeans, and some comfy sneakers. After seeing her wear this uniform on repeat, I inquired about the shirt, which looked super soft and flattering. It turns out it’s the Hanes Originals Oversized T-Shirt, which is on sale for just $6 at Amazon now.

My mom said she owns “all the colors” of the shirt available at the retailer and loves that it’s “easy to throw on” but still makes her feel “put together.” Made from 100 percent cotton, the lightweight tee has a relaxed (but not boxy) fit and ribbed crewneck collar with a flattering shape and ample stretch. It also features a curved hem at the front and back for a unique touch to a classic silhouette. The short sleeve is available in white, black, purple, gray, and yellow, as well as sizes S to 4XL.

My mom has been a loyal Hanes wearer for decades, so she was excited to see the T-shirt she’s been wearing for years on sale for $6. The shirt tucks perfectly into her favorite jeans, and when not tucked, she likes that the shirttail is curved because it adds a bit more coverage. She loves that the Hanes Originals Oversized T-Shirt has “a spacious fit” without looking sloppy, and that she’s able to “dress it up or down.” Plus, the fabric “doesn’t cling” to her body or makes her sweat, and the sleeves “don’t dig” into her underarms.

One of her biggest pet peeves when buying crewneck tees is that she constantly has to replace them because the neckline gets stretched out and doesn’t look as nice over time.
