This new mom had the BEST response to a stranger who told her her boobs were sagging
Today in absolute QUEENS, this *amazing* woman had a beautiful response to the creepy dude who said her boobs were too saggy for her sports bra. Because, come on, guys. Really? Michelle Kirk was out jogging with her 18-month-old when a man stopped his bike right in front of her to let her know he didn’t like how her boobs looked. Like, WHAT?! Luckily, she told him the eff off.
On a Facebook post, she explained,
“To the nasty old man who stopped me mid run to inform me that I need to get a better sports bra because my boobs are sagging and will only sag more if I continue to run…f*ck you. You are the reason why women have insecurities. If you don’t like the way my boobs ‘sag’ when I run, then don’t look!”
“I will NEVER stop doing what I love and I love myself way to much to have your hate bring me down!”
Just like, YES LADY.
She explained why she’s been so vocal about what happened to SELF, saying,
“I just want to inspire other people. Society has this crazy image of how we should look, how we should feel, and I think people need to shy away from that because that’s not what it’s about. Women need to bring each other up and compliment each other, and we’ve got to stop this body shaming … [and] men need to realize that all women are beautiful, too. There’s certain socially acceptable situations, and you can’t just go up to a stranger and speak your mind.”
As if we couldn’t love her more. Major, major heart eyes here, and so much respect. We’re SO OVER THE BODY SHAMING, PEOPLE, and we hope that as we continue to talk about why it *isn’t* ever okay we can work to end this culture of negativity surrounding our bodies and each other’s.
