Sometimes I get a little too comfortable in my neutral-loving ways, and then BAM, a styled shoot like this one comes along and reminds me how beautiful a splash of color really is. This editorial was captured at the historic industrial space turned wedding venue, Machine Shop. Inspired by velvet, we brought in rich colors and paired them with soft and delicate details throughout.
For a modern twist we incorporated calligraphy and geometric shapes to show that no matter the shape or pattern beauty can be found and infused anywhere. The intertwining soft textures with rich colors of coral, blush, dusty rose, and gold created what we envisioned to be a Velvet Dream.
