Lauren Santo Domingo, the cofounder and chief brand officer of Moda Operandi, has been named the new creative director of Tiffany & Co.’s home collection.

The announcement represents a doubling down from the brand in the homeware category, as Santo Domingo—or “LSD” as she’s referred to by her devoted social media following—will serve as Tiffany’s first artistic director for home. Her first big activation for the company already promises a wide range of new tabletop collections, including the Tiffany T True, which features the brand’s iconic T motif, and Tiffany Wisteria, a line that plumbs Tiffany & Co.'s archives for points of floral inspiration.

Prior to Tiffany & Co., Santo Domingo served as a fashion editor at Vogue before ultimately founding Moda Operandi in 2010. The online retailer allowed for instant gratification for keen-eyed fashionistas, who could immediately shop favorite looks from runway shows. In addition to her executive role at Moda Operandi, LSD remains a contributing editor at Vogue.

Her appointment at Tiffany comes in tandem with the brand’s reopening of its flagship Fifth Avenue store in Manhattan, set to open next month. Santo Domingo’s new collections will launch concurrently and shoppers will be able to snap up the new glassware and tableware pieces both in-store and online. There's something for Moda Operandi devotees, too, as a curated selection of product will also be available via the fashion site.

It's a partnership that seems a natural fit: “Tiffany & Co. has played an important part in milestones throughout my life," Santo Domingo said in a statement. "I'm honored to work with such an iconic brand."
