Moab, Utah: Mountain Biking Mecca
Whit Richardson
Home to the famous Slickrock bike trail, Moab is a paradise for mountain bikers. The traction between the 12 miles of sandstone and tires means that bikers can perform gravity-defying maneuvers. If you’re a beginner, hit the two-mile practice section. Otherwise, it takes about four hours to ride the main loop, but leave more time if you plan to explore the many side routes for even more stunning views of the canyon.
