Missy Elliott's Performance at VH1 Hip Hop Honors Will Leave You Speechless

Are you sitting down? Because Missy Elliott's performance at the VH1 Hip Hop Honors: The 90’s Game Changers will blow you away. The iconic rapper reminded everyone that she's the best of the best as she opened the show with a rendition of her song "She's a Bitch."

The jam debuted on her sophomore album Da Real World and was produced by Timbaland, and it's definitely stood the test of time. For her performance, she took a cue from the song's music video, but the on-stage version may even be more dramatic than the original.

Elliott was completely mesmerizing as she emerged from water on stage in what might possibly be the most unreal performance costume ever. Dressed in all black leather, she looked like a complete badass with her face painted. She added a few pops of silver to her look, including rhinestones on her head, glittering eyebrows and lips, a large chain necklace with her initials, and oversize hoops.

Elliott wasn't the only major '90s performer to hit the stage. Mariah Carey also performed alongside Jermaine Dupri.
