Harmon is a Charleston native and pre-med student at Marshall University studying biochemistry, while also working as a certified pharmacy technician.

She came with an important message for students: you can do anything you set your mind to, even if it is your first time trying.

“I have never competed in pageants before this one, so it’s really cool to share that message that they can aspire to be anything they want to be if they have just a little bit of hard work and determination, they can always achieve their dreams,” said Harmon.
