Get ready to start your week off with some feel-good vibes.

As we all know, Miranda Lambert, beloved country artist and founder of the MuttNation Foundation, has a soft spot for animals. As such, she’s rescued an array of pets over the years. And, now that she’s married to Brendan McLoughlin, she’s teaching her hubby her ways.

On Sunday, June 28, the “Bluebird” singer posted a sweet story that’s already capturing fans' attention.

“Two lane highway in Texas, speed limit 70,” she wrote. “Brendan slows down and does a U-turn... Me to B: ‘Why are you turning around?’ B to me: ‘There’s a kitten in the road and I knew you would kill me if I saw it and didn’t stop.’ Well, I guess the rescue ways are rubbing off on him. We stopped at mom and dads on the way home. Dad has a new bestie. This kitten rode 9 hours back to Nashville with us and 3 dogs and was such a champ. He is 4-5 weeks old and weighs 14 Ounces. Y’all welcome Tequila the kitten to the family!”

Needless to say, fans are swooning over the sweet story. “A world of good can come from 14 ounces of Tequila,” one commenter wrote.

Another chimed in, “First thank you for rescuing vs designer pets! Thank you, B—for loving your wife M—so much to turn around to save a fur [baby’s] life. Thank you both for being Being Human.”

“I love what y’all are doing for these sweet babies. Ain’t nothing better,” another posted.

Moral of the story: If you see a stranded kitten in the middle of the road, do the right thing. You might just end up with a new best friend.
