Although Miranda Lambert didn't take home a win at the CMT Music Awards this year, some fans might argue that she's still a winner with her husband Brendan McLoughlin by her side.

While the weather is just starting to warm up across the U.S., Brendan was spotted soaking up the sun when he posted a video of himself working out back on February 28. Set to Aerosmith's "Back In the Saddle," the short clip featuring him doing a series of exercise under the shade of a tree in what appeared to be a backyard. Though Miranda was nowhere in sight, Brendan shared insight of what the two might have been up to off camera.

"Working off the tacos in this Texas heat. 20 minute ab circuit. ☀️☀️," he captioned the Instagram snippet.

Reacting to Brendan's workout video, fans couldn't help but rave about how great he looked and even threw a few funny quips about their own workout routines.

"Thirst trap. I’m here for it. Ain’t even mad at it. You’re the real MVP @mirandalambert," one person wrote in the Instagram comments section. "Thank you for posting 😂 and atta girl @mirandalambert," another added. "If I watch this, does it count for working off my tacos? 😂 Way to go 👏🙌!" a different follower said.

Folks may remember Miranda and Brendan bringing their A-game in the fashion department at the 2022 CMT Music Awards. The married couple of four years matched in blue outfits: Brendan in a velvet suit and Miranda in a V-neck mini dress. But where was the duo at this year's country music event?

The eight-time CMT Music Awards winner was nominated for Female Video of the Year for her music video "Actin' Up." After the trophy went to up-and-coming artist and Yellowstone actress Lainey Wilson for "Heart Like a Truck," Miranda didn't get a chance to applaud her in-person.

As it turns out, she was in the midst of her Velvet Rodeo Las Vegas residency. Since kicking her shows in September, she has performed over a stretch of a few weeks with several breaks in between.

Perhaps, during her upcoming summer break, Miranda might just appear in one of Brendan's Instagram videos — workout or not!
