Miranda Lambert has some big news! She’s back with new music, one year after releasing her ninth studio album, Palomino. The “Gunpowder & Lead” hitmaker took to Instagram to tell her 4.8 million followers about her plans in a May 5th post.

The Grammy winner explained that she’s not only collaborating with fellow country crooner Dierks Bentley, but also that their new songs will be featured in upcoming episodes of the CBS show, Fire Country.

Miranda Lambert’s Brand New Music Will Appear On CBS’ Fire Country Soundtrack

The “Bluebird” singer shared a behind-the-scenes video of herself and Bentley recording their new duet “Saved,” and wrote in her caption, “Got some exciting news for y’all! We have a few new songs that will be on @FireCountryCBS.” She added, “Tune into the show for the next two weeks on @cbstv to hear em.”

The first of the new songs will premiere this Friday, May 12th, and the track features an infectious electric guitar riff. Lambert can be heard exquisitely harmonizing with Bentley in the promotional clip.

The “I”ll Be Lovin’ You” songwriter wore her blonde tresses in chic pigtail braids while singing at the recording studio, completing her look with a red-and-white, plaid button-down top and baseball cap.

Fire Country is a drama series that stars Max Thieriot, Billy Burke, and Kevin Alejandro. The show is available to stream via Paramount+ and new episodes air on CBS every Friday at 9/8c, so fans won’t have to worry about missing Lambert’s new music!

Lambert Teases More Upcoming Musical Collaborations

Back In March, Lambert told fans that she had left her former record label of 20 years, Sony Records. “I am, for the first time in 20 years, a free agent,” she revealed in an interview with ABC Audio. “I don’t have a label and I feel pretty great about it.” She added, “I mean, I have Vanner Records, which was my imprint that now I have,”

In 2016, Lambert and Sony Records launched her “imprint Vanner Records concurrent” with the release of her sixth studio album, The Weight of These Wings, as Fox News notes.

Lambert also told the publication that she is excited for the newest chapter of her career, and at the time was not only writing new songs, but also had “a few cool collabs” coming soon. While her listeners are more than thrilled with this latest Lambert and Bentley pairing, we can’t wait to see what else she has in store for us this year.

Lambert Becomes The American Country Music Awards’ Most Decorated Artist

This week is also significant for the “House That Built Me” singer, as she is the most decorated artist in the history of the American Country Music Awards. The 58th annual ACM Awards ceremony will air live, exclusively on Amazon Prime, on Thursday, May 11th at 8PM, ET.

In April, Lambert scored her 17th female artist of the year nomination. This meant that she surpassed Reba McEntire’s record of 16 nominations. Lambert was also nominated for the 2023 major entertainer of the year, artist-songwriter of the year, and album of the year awards for Palomino. We’ll be tuning in tonight to see if she takes home the gold!
