Miranda Kerr's Terrifying Break-in
Well, this is terrifying.
TMZ reports that a man scaled a fence and at Miranda Kerr’s Malibu home on Friday night and proceeded to stab her security guard in the eye (yes, IN THE EYE) before being shot in the face by the guard.
As the site reports it, the intruder never made it into the house - and Miranda, who bought the house in 2014, thankfully wasn’t home! - and the security guard caught him right after he jumped the fence. In a tussle, the man proceeded to stab the guard in the eye and the guard open fired on him; shooting him several times, including in the face.
Both men were airlifted to a nearby hospital and are expected to survive. KTLA has footage of the man they identify as the intruder being airlifted.
A spokesperson for the LAPD told The Daily Mail that they responded to a shots fired call in Malibu on Friday:
They discovered a security guard had been involved in a physical altercation with an intruder. The guard was stabbed in the facial injury and he had minor injuries. He produced a handgun and shot the intruder three to four times in the face and torso. Neither the guard nor the intruder has life threatening injuries.
So, yeah. Terrifying.
