Miranda Kerr couldn't think of a better match for her ex-husband Orlando Bloom — or stepmother to her son, Flynn — than Katy Perry. During an interview with Drew Barrymore on her talk show on Friday, the supermodel opened up about her blended family, and how much she adores the fact that Katy's an integral part of it.

"I adore Katy and I just feel so happy that Orlando has found someone that makes his heart so happy, because at the end of the day, for Flynn to have a happy father and a happy mother is just the most important thing," said Kerr of the former couple's co-parenting relationship. "I'm just so grateful that Orlando and Katy found each other and I'm so grateful that I found my incredible husband and just that we all really respect each other."

She also explained how the couples make an effort to spend quality time together. "When it comes to special occasions, when we have to be together, we work it out so we have compromises [about] what is the best for our whole family," Miranda added. "We really do always think of what is the best thing for Flynn, and I just think that's the most important thing."

Kerr and Bloom tied the knot in 2010 and divorced three years later. Miranda eventually remarried Snapchat CEO Evan Spiegel and had two sons — Hart, 2, and Myles, 1 — with him, while Orlando and Katy are engaged and recently welcomed a daughter, Daisy Dove, this summer.
