Mindy Kaling's New Swimwear Collection Is EVERYTHING

There's lots to love about summer: poolside hangs, backyard barbecues, sunny days, snow cone runs, and relaxing vacations, to name a few. But if there's one thing we don't love about summer so much, it's actually having to buy swimwear. Not only can they be costly, but shopping for swimsuits can also be SO frustrating, uncomfortable, and even chip away at your confidence a little bit. Fortunately for us, Mindy Kaling relates.
"I am not crazy about trying on swimsuits. In fact, I kind of famously despise it?" Kaling writes in an Instagram post. In that same post, the Velma actress announced that she has partnered with swimwear brand Andie to create her own line of stylish swimsuits, featuring "limited edition styles" and "bold + fun Mindy-approved colors (but also some classic colors if you're, like, just trying to be chill)."
And you best believe we're trying to have a bold, fun, confident (and fine, hot girl) summer, starting with our swimsuits. Right now, you can get her chic suits in all sorts of shades, from cherry-red to bright blue to neon orange, and much more. Some items in her line even utilize a special textured popcorn fabric to give a little dimension to your fit. The collection includes a range of styles from sexy one-pieces to high-waisted bikinis and even beachside apparel, like shorts, a cropped jacket, a sarong, and a dress. Maybe best of all, Kaling promises we'll love her swimsuits, which means they have to be awesome, right? "These are so flattering, I promise your new favorite suit is in this collection," she writes on Instagram. And honestly, we're inclined to believe her, especially since some of the swimsuits utilize compressive fabric to help give us a snatched silhouette.
