  • Mindy Kaling is looking all kinds of happy and strong as she celebrated Diwali this week.

  • The actress, 43, donned an anarkali, showing off her toned core, and looking super happy.

  • Mindy says she is the healthiest she's ever been, and goes on quick, 15-minute walks when she can.

In case you missed it, it’s Diwali, a Hindu religious festival also sometimes called the Festival of Lights, and plenty of stars are sharing photos of their celebrations on social media. That includes Mindy Kaling, who is clearly bringing her fashion A-game to the holiday.

The Mindy Project star casually dropped photos and a video on Instagram of two different looks, and they’re everything. In the first, Mindy is working an ice-blue, full-length anarkali with some gorgeous detailing. In the next photo, she shows off a deep green anarkali with delicate gold beading. She accessorized that next-level look with gold drop earrings and her toned core.

“Diwali week is especially thrilling this year because there are so many fun events for me and my family,” the 43-year-old wrote in the caption. “The festival of lights is a beautiful holiday for recognizing togetherness, redemption... and new clothes!” Mindy then gave a sweet shout-out to designer Falguni Peacock, noting that she makes clothing that “transforms me into my most glamorous, confident self.”

People cheered her on in the comments. "Mindy out here BIG THRIVIN," one person wrote. "Legit can't get over how good she looks like wowwwwwww," another said.

Mindy told SELF in May that she’s the “healthiest I’ve ever been,” noting that she’s gone from hating exercising to actually enjoying it. “I am funnier, more focused, and centered when I incorporate movement into my life,” she shared.

Mindy said that she learned to reframe her view on exercise. “In my 20s, I thought working out was only effective if it was very punishing, you hated it, and it was kind of solitary. And you had to look a certain way after doing it,” she said. But now, Mindy is into shorter workouts, like a 15-minute walk. Mindy tracks her activity and usually ends up walking three to four miles a day. She also throws strength training, yoga, and group fitness classes into the mix to keep things fresh.

On the food front, Mindy previously told Women’s Health that she eats “everything.” She even joked, “I think I’m the only person in L.A. without dietary restrictions.” Some of her go-tos include a green smoothie and eggs for breakfast, sushi or a turkey sandwich for lunch, and pizza or fish for dinner. She’s also big on staying hydrated, making it a goal to drink 50 ounces of water before 7 a.m.

“Hydration is so key,” she said. “Half the times I'm in a bad mood it's because I'm not hydrated, so for me that's super important.”

I'm glad you're having a good time, Mindy. You look so strong!
