‘Mindhunter’ Star Lauren Glazier Recalls the Hardest Scene She Had to Film (Hint: Large Quantities of Eggs Were Involved)

We’d imagine that filming Netflix’s dark crime series Mindhunter would be emotionally draining. And while that may be true for Jonathan Groff (Agent Holden Ford) and Holt McCallany (Agent Bill Tench), the hardest day Lauren Glazier, who plays Wendy’s girlfriend Kay in the series, had on set involved being way too full.

Speaking about her experience starring in season two of the hit series with PureWow, Glazier explained, “There are different things that make different days difficult, of course. There are technical days when you have to hit that mark, but you have to make it feel natural. And there were certainly some emotional scenes, and you have to focus on really getting them right. Especially in the scenes that are more integral.”

But when asked what the most difficult scene of the season to film was, the 34-year-old actress thought for a moment before telling us a story that will probably make you crave despise scrambled eggs.

“I had to eat a lot of eggs in one scene and that was pretty tough because they were salty,” Glazier recalled. “Oof, that was a day. I was like, ‘OK, here we go. Pass ’em over.’”

As you might imagine, there are only so many scrambled eggs a person can stomach. Glazier continued, “That was actually really hard. That’s the honest to God truth. You think, ‘Oh, yeah, it’ll be fun to eat in this.’ And then you’re like, ‘Whoa, that is a lot of scrambled eggs.”

There’s no telling how many eggs she consumed while filming that scene, but we think it’s safe to say she’ll be choosing other breakfast foods for the time being.
