After an explicit livestream in which TikToker Hunter Ecimovic alluded to a relationship with actor Millie Bobby Brown, the Stranger Things star’s representatives have said they plan to take action.

In a now-unavailable Instagram livestream on July 12 (recorded clips of the expired post are still available online), Ecimovic, who goes by Hunter Echo on social media, appeared to speak to an alleged sexual relationship he says he had with Brown when she was 16 and he was 20, according to Insider. The video came shortly after photos of the pair kissing leaked online.

Over the course of the livestream, Ecimovic said he “groomed” Brown, after commenters accused him of doing so. He also said he “was living in Millie's house for eight months.” After sharing explicit sexual details, Ecimovic added “Everything I did was completely legal,” he said on the livestream. “It was approved by everyone that I was with.” According to Complex, Ecimovic lives in California, where the age of consent is 18.

During the stream, Ecimovic also said "I will never apologize—I hope you know that. I have nothing to apologize for, so make that clear. I have zero things to apologize for."

Ecimovic’s Instagram has been deactivated, as has his TikTok.

In a statement sent to Teen Vogue, Brown’s representatives called Ecimovic’s claims “dishonest” and “offensive,” saying they plan to take action against him.

“Mr. Ecimovic’s remarks on social media are not only dishonest but also are irresponsible, offensive, and hateful,” representatives said. “Instead of engaging in a public discourse with him through the press or on social media, we are taking action to ensure that he stops this behavior once and for all."

Representatives did not comment on whether the two were ever actually in a relationship, or what kind of action they are referencing.

Teen Vogue has attempted to reach out to Ecimovic but has been unsuccessful.

Since the live stream initially happened, Ecimovic has apologized for his words in a now-unavailable TikTok video, saying it "should have never happened in the first place.” The apology was recorded and published on YouTube. “The livestream, I am sorry for,” he said. “I’m not proud of at all how I spoke, it sounded very immature, looked horrible on my family, it looked horrible on me, it looked horrible on my friends.”

"There are already stories that are completely not correct or never said," he continued. "It's all being fabricated."

Insider reports Ecimovic denied grooming Brown in a comment on TikTok before deactivating his account. "I never groomed her. I never put pressure on her to like me," he reportedly wrote.
