Millie Bobby Brown Wears Calvin Klein at San Diego Comic Con

Millie Bobby Brown sat on a panel during Comic Con in San Diego this past weekend, promoting her upcoming film, “Godzilla: King of the Monsters.” For the event, she wore one of our favorite summertime uniforms but sported what one might consider a wardrobe malfunction—all in the name of fashion. In a red, white, and blue printed midi skirt and white T-shirt, the “tag” of Millie’s runway-ready Calvin Klein bottom was printed right on the front of her skirt, in big black letters and numbers, facing horizontally and running from top to bottom.

The design was, of course, on purpose, taking the quilt-printed skirt and making it a little more deconstructed and a little more edgy than the Calvin Klein that we might remember from the past. It is all due to the creative director of Raf Simons, who has also taken Millie’s casual cool aesthetic as creative inspiration.

Millie has been the face of the custom line, By Appointment, for the brand since its inception in January of 2017 and, most recently, took part in their Americana-themed campaign for this very collection. For the images, the 14-year-old stood alongside Paris Jackson and Lulu Tenney. Participants in the campaign included the Kardashian-Jenner sisters as well as Kaia and Presley Gerber, among others. As such, it’s no surprise she chose the brand for this particular event.

Whether it's a splurge-worthy Calvin Klein or another more affordable brand, a colorful midi skirt and bright white T-shirt is the perfect summer look for when you want to look pulled together but also want as little fuss as possible. What’s more, Millie proves that the elegant look is both sophisticated and casual at the same time, making it a go-to for pretty much anyone.
