Millie Bobby Brown Talks BFF Maddie Ziegler and Meeting Drake at SAG Awards 2018

"He was having a fanboy moment, I was having a fangirl moment."

Millie Bobby Brown is nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series for her performance as Eleven in season 2 of *Stranger Things, and if she wins, she knows just how she'll celebrate. "Probably go back to my hotel room and eat pizza and watch a movie with my family," she said during the 2018 SAG Awards red carpet. (Wow, stars they really are just like us.)

She showed up to the red carpet on Sunday in a ballerina-inspired outfit, showing off a glittering ballet-pink dress, matching nails, her hair in two sleek buns, and a pair of white Converse. "I love to dance — that's why I brought these," said Millie, pointing to her footwear.

But her affinity for dancing isn't just limited to her red carpet look. Prompted by a photo she took in November, Millie also talked about her love for noted dad-dancer Drake. "Drake's my man," she said. "I love Drake! He is amazing." As for how she managed to snap a pic with the rapper, it turns out he'd invited her to his show. "This moment was amazing," she said. "I was in his dressing room with my whole family...I was like, 'Just want to say hi.' He was like, 'Oh, my god.' He was having a fanboy moment, I was having a fangirl moment and a Drake moment."

And there's one more famous dancer that Millie name-dropped on the red carpet. When asked about who has inspired her to become the actress she is, her first choice was BFF Maddie Ziegler (shortly followed by Audrey Hepburn, Angelina Jolie, and Jodie Foster). "If she can do it, I can do it," she said.

Millie's always been a fan of Maddie, but they became fast friends after Millie got to meet Maddie backstage. "You followed me on Twitter — and I had a meltdown — and the rest is history, really,” Millie told Maddie in 2016. “I finally got your number, and then we met, and we had that very hysterical day where we met some funny people at the pool. We just clicked." The BFFs share interests and busy schedules, and have been through a lot — like Millie's infamous first-ever sleepover. “She was like ‘Do you want to come over?’ and I was like ‘Sure!’ So, I go over, and at 3:00 in the morning, the fire alarm comes on," she previously said. "We all had to get rushed out of her apartment building. I’m crying because I’m like ‘My first sleepover’s ruined!’ So, yeah, we’ve been through a lot.”
