Millie Bobby Brown and Maddie Ziegler Are BFF Goals at VMAs 2018

It seems that every time BFFs Millie Bobby Brown and Maddie Ziegler get together, their true-blue bond is nothing short of goals. Like the time they drank Butterbeer together at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Or the time they interviewed each other and spent the whole time chatting about their best-friendship. Or when Millie (or “Mills,” as Maddie affectionately calls her) referred to Maddie as her greatest inspiration (over Audrey Hepburn, Angelina Jolie, and Jodie Foster, NBD). And now we have yet another moment to add to the ever-growing list of reasons why we love Mills and Mads: Their adorable encounter on the 2018 MTV VMAs red carpet.

Both Maddie and Millie showed up looking sleek and chic, with each of them opting for a crop-top-and-pants combo. The former Dance Moms star opted for an ensemble that was more simple and tailored, with the color — a bubblegum pink — making the biggest statement; while the Stranger Things star went with a more feminine and flowy silhouette that featured a statement flutter sleeve in a sophisticated, all-black look. But when the two spotted one another, they clearly approved of each other’s outfit choice.

The BFFs greeted each other by literally fan-girling, complete with full-on bowing down at the sight of each other. And that simple gesture is truly the crux of what makes Maddie and Millie’s friendship so great: The two are constantly in full support of the other, focusing on building each other up on their meteoric rise through young Hollywood. It’s refreshing and empowering to witness, and it was on full-display during their VMAs red-carpet encounter. Take a look:
