As Eleven once said, "Friends don't lie." So know we're telling you the truth when we say there are two Stranger Things engagements to commemorate.

That's right, two weeks after Millie Bobby Brown announced her engagement to Jon Bon Jovi's son, Jake Bongiovi, her co-star Brett Gelman made his own special announcement.

On April 28, the actor, who plays Murray Bauman in the Netflix horror-supernatural series, revealed on Instagram that he had proposed to musician Ari Dayan.

Alongside a photo that featured Gelman down on one knee and a selfie with his new fiancée, he wrote, "SHE SAID YES!!!"

Of course, it didn't take long for Gelman's famous friends to send him well wishes. Pretty Little Liars star Ashley Benson wrote next to heart-eye emojis, "Yessssssss."

Wednesday's Riki Lindhome commented, "Congratulations!! 💕🥂."

Jamie Campbell Bower, who joined Stranger Things for season four, kept it simple, dropping several heart emojis.

Gelman, who was previously married to filmmaker Janicza Bravo, first started dating Dayan in 2019. He later made his directorial debut via one of Dayan's music videos.

Dayan gushed on their connection in a previous interview, noting at the time, "We speak the same language when it comes to what’s funny. I would have an idea and Brett would add to it and the other way around and we found our mutual voice pretty quickly. It has a lot of both of us in it both conceptually and tonally. I find a lot of joy at laughing at myself and I think Brett does too. This is a love letter to that part of ourselves."
