Miley Cyrus and Kaitlynn Carter were spotted getting their PDA on during a lunch date.
The pair have been dating since Miley’s split from Liam Hemsworth was announced August 11.
It looks like Miley Cyrus and Kaitlynn Carter’s relationship is going pretty strong, because they couldn’t have been more into each other on a recent lunch date. The pair were seen getting a bite in Los Angeles with Miley’s mom, Tish, and legit could not keep their hands off each other while walking through valet parking.
In case you’re one of the few remaining people on this earth who is currently like, “WAIT, ISN’T SHE MARRIED TO LIAM HEMSWORTH,” allow me to update you: Miley and Liam split up a few weeks ago—on the same day that photos of Miley and Kaitlynn making out in Italy were published online. It’s all been very dramatic and extra, with Liam filing for divorce and Miley coming out with a breakup song called “Slide Away”—which she went ahead and performed at the VMAs.
And speaking of the VMAs, Kaitlynn was most definitely Miley’s guest that night and they were spotted looking cute and holding hands on the way to the after-party.
In case you’re wondering how Liam’s doing in all this, he’s been seen looking bummed on various beaches in Australia, and a source told ET that “at first, Liam wanted to just give it time, but he finally felt like things were getting nasty and he didn’t want to drag it out publicly. He decided it was all too much. [...] Liam loves Miley and is crushed by all of this. But right now, Miley doesn’t want to answer to anyone. She still feels the need to explore herself, her sexuality, and her music. Miley has been working in the studio and wants to blow off steam.”
