'Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party' Is Back!

Miley Cyrus is back to ring in the New Year in a big way. To welcome 2023, the multi-platinum recording star is hosting Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party with a legend of a co-host, Dolly Parton.
“My fairy godmother,” as Cyrus calls Parton. “It is unparalleled how gracious she is in every room she is in,” Cyrus told Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show. “I don’t know if Dolly knows what Dolly is.”

This year's star power is a major upgrade from 2022 when Pete Davidson joined Cyrus as co-host of the NBC New Year's Eve event.
Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party will air live on NBC from Miami on Saturday, Dec. 31 from 10:30 p.m.-12:30 a.m. ET and will also stream live on Peacock. In addition to Parton, the A-list cast of celebrities and musicians, includes Sia, Latto and Rae Sremmurd for a joyful night in front of a live audience.

Who is producing Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party?
Live television mastermind Lorne Michaels is executive producing Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party.
“Lorne Michaels makes magic,” Cyrus told Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show. She went on to explain that last year, with Telemundo Studios right near the airport in Miami planes kept going by and were starting to ruin the show. “Somehow Lorne Michaels called and got all air traffic to stop before the air so no planes could fly overhead while we did our show.”
