Miley Cyrus has never shied away from a major fashion moment — just remember her December 2018 SNL look, where the singer donned a sparkly silver suit with no shirt. Now, she’s debuting a gorgeous dress with a jaw-dropping low neckline, and we’re pretty obsessed.
In a pic posted to Instagram on January 26, the newlywed Miley wears a halter-neck velvet gown with a plunging neckline that dips below her navel. She paired the dress with a few layered necklaces, silver hoop and safety pin earrings, a multitude of rings, and a few bracelets, with her long blonde hair in messy waves. She finished off her night-out look with a classic and perfect red lip. It’s the perfect blend of ultra-glam Hollywood and rocker-chic, which is definitely Miley’s recent MO, and it’s giving us major inspiration for formal occasions like winter dances and prom!
Apparently, Miley was wearing the dress for a special occasion: date night with her new husband, Liam Hemsworth. She posted a photo of them together, writing, “Date night OUT and ready to party with the MR.” The Daily Mail reports that Miam attended the G’Day USA gala, which honors Australians working in Hollywood.
