Miley Cyrus’s Pride Special Is Set to Be a Fashion Spectacle

Miley Cyrus sure knows how to dress for a theme. When she released her 2020 rock album, Plastic Hearts, she did several live performances decked out in edgy, leather-clad looks to match the vibe. During her performance at the Super Bowl kickoff in February, she even managed to make a sports jersey high-fashion (with some help from Gucci!). Cyrus always understands the assignment. She’s hosting a Pride concert special with Peacock on June 25th, and we can’t wait to see her latest fashion mood. The teasers alone have us salivating.

Titled Miley Cyrus Presents Stand by You, the special will honor Pride month and feature performances from Cyrus and special guests Orville Peck, Maren Morris, and more. Given Pride Month is all about self-expression, celebration, and, yes, rainbows and glitter, Cyrus took that fashion sentiment to heart.

The first look we get a glimpse of is Cyrus in a striking Gucci gown, featuring a lace bodice and paillette-embellished skirt. “I’m gonna keep fighting for us, for our community that we treasure and hold so dear—and while I do it, Imma be in Gucci,” she quips on-stage in the look. The second extravagant fit we see is a feathery dress by Giambattista Valli Haute Couture adorned with a big pink ribbon at the waist.

The spirit of the show seems to be about maximalism and over-the-top flair—you know, looks good enough to be on a Pride float during the parade. So, sure, come for the live songs, but stay for the dazzling stage fashions. We’ve already cleared our schedules.
