Miley Cyrus Performs on "Saturday Night Live" in Silver Jacket With No Shirt
Miley Cyrus definitely isn’t afraid to take risks when it comes to her style, and her recent appearance on Saturday Night Live just solidifies that fact. While performing her hit single “Nothing Breaks Like a Heart” on the December 15 episode, Miley stopped traffic in a shiny silver jacket, matching pants, and boots. The festive combination would have been eye-catching enough alone, but Miley took it to the next level by unzipping her jacket all the way...and wearing absolutely nothing underneath.
While some viewers might have been nervously biting their nails, anticipating a wardrobe malfunction waiting to happen, Miley was cool as a cucumber. The singer-songwriter moved effortlessly to the music as she sang the melancholy lyrics (along with Mark Ronson on guitar), seemingly not giving her open jacket a second thought. The shiny garment caught the light in all the best ways, reminiscent of a holiday-themed mermaid, with yellow, black, and white stripes down the arms.
And that wasn’t the only daring outfit Miley sported on SNL. During her second performance, the musician donned a red patterned dress, cinched at the waist, with a plunging neckline all the way down her torso. We can only assume that she was wearing a ton of fashion tape, and had a lot of luck on her side.
