Miley Cyrus Made a Surprise Appearance at Marc Jacobs’s NYFW Show

And the internet can’t handle it.

New York Fashion Week always brings out the stars, but while most celebs are only spotted on the sidelines, one person in particular made an unexpected splash at the recent Marc Jacobs show: Miley Cyrus.

On February 12, Miley helped close the week by walking the runway to showcase the label’s fall/winter 2020 collection — all the while setting the internet ablaze.

The show, which took place at the Park Avenue Armory, featured the brand’s styles on the likes of Gigi Hadid and Kaia Gerber, but it was Miley who captured our undivided attention; sporting her rock-and-roll mullet while wearing a black bralette and tailored low-rise black pants. In her black-leather-gloved hand she carried a zebra-print jacket, completing the look with a statement necklace.

And it’s safe to say Miley’s surprise appearance didn’t go unnoticed on the internet. After she posted a clip of her walk on Instagram, comments poured in from friends and fans all around the world.

“YUP. STOMP QUEEN,” wrote Hailey Bieber alongside a few heart emojis. Trace Cyrus, Miley’s brother, also shared Hailey’s enthusiasm, writing “Yassss” followed by four flame emojis. From the fan side, Miley’s other social media was equally abuzz.

The video’s repost on Twitter has fans going wild. “SHE IS SERVING YOUR HONOR,” someone commented after seeing Miley’s strut. “Me on my way to the store to purchase bad karma on vinyl,” they also added.

Others responded to the video with a little behind-the-scenes action, showing Miley warming up the runway before her big appearance. This was paired with some stellar backstage pics of Miley in her element. Still, though most fans are over the moon with Miley’s runway cameo, some have their reservations. “Rihanna left us for the makeup industry, Miley's gone model on us...oh well,” shared another Twitter user. And, well, only time will tell!
