Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth had a rare public movie date tonight at the premiere of Avengers: Endgame, and really brought some great style to the red carpet. The couple both matched in black, Hemsworth in a black suit and Cyrus in a black Saint Laurent gown with a cutout. It was a polished but chic look for their first premiere ever as newlyweds.

Cyrus was really feeling her outfit and made that clear on her Instagram, giving Saint Laurent's creative director Anthony Vaccarello a shoutout on her Instagram Story:

The two are at the premiere tonight to support Hemsworth's older brother Chris, who plays Thor in the film. This isn't their first time supporting Chris Hemsworth either: They went to the premiere of Thor: Ragnarok in October 2017 for him. It was another one of their rare public dates:

Cyrus and Hemsworth were originally supposed to attend their first premiere as a married couple back in February when Hemsworth's film Isn't It Romantic came out. But then, Hemsworth couldn't attend as he was dealing with kidney stones, so Cyrus went on behalf of both of them.

She told Variety's red carpet reporter that Hemsworth wasn't "not feeling well right now. He just had some health things, and I think that’s the most important-that entertainers, we have a really hard time taking care of ourselves because this movie is the most important thing to him so I had to be here to represent it. And I’ve heard he’s just so funny in it, which I’ve always known. He’s the funniest person I’ve ever met, but not everyone else knows that so I think this is going to be an amazing step for him."

On both her Instagram and Twitter then, Cyrus reiterated how proud she was of Hemsworth. "So proud of my hunky hubby @liamhemsworth & his newest movie #IsntItRomantic ❤️ He unfortunately wasn’t able to attend due to health reasons... but he is recovering and taking this time to rest / heal. It’s hard for entertainers to put themselves before the project but this time it was crucial .... I am proud to represent him and his incredible work. So happy to see him shining in this comedy! He is the funniest person I know , and the world now gets to see the Liam I wake up to every day.... luckiest 💋"
