Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth Ended Up at the Same Pre-Oscars Party
At the end of January, Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus finalized their divorce, and on Friday, People reported that the two went to the same pre-Oscars party thrown by William Morris Endeavor (WME) in Beverly Hills.
Cyrus wore a white tank top, while Hemsworth opted for all black. The two were photographed separately and did not interact, a source told the publication.
"It wasn’t a big deal and they didn’t even speak. The party was packed, and it wasn’t awkward for Miley that Liam was there," the source said. "She was with her parents and friends. Liam is her past and Miley is focused on the future. She had great years with Liam and has no regrets. She feels it was all meant to be. Now she has moved on to other great things. She is very happy with Cody [Simpson] and that’s her focus."
Cyrus, who also attended the Tom Ford fashion show on Friday with her brother Tracy, reportedly wants to move on from her past and her marriage to Hemsworth, which lasted less than a year.
A source told People that she's "relieved that she and Liam reached an agreement when it comes to the divorce." Since she got together with Simpson last year, Cyrus has been spending much of her time with the Australian model.
The two got together in the fall of last year and made their relationship social-media public pretty much right away. On his birthday this year, Cyrus celebrated Simpson by giving him a doctor bag that had the inscription, "Prince Neptune," which is his poetry moniker.
