Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth Attended Their First Met Gala as a Couple
Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have now officially made their Met Gala debut as a couple, and fans are here for it.
At the 2019 Met Gala, Miley and Liam entered the pink carpet to major cheers — the event is reportedly Liam's first time attending, though Miley has of course been to several Met Galas. Their arrival on the carpet marks them as just one of several couples (we see you, Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner) to celebrate their first year of marriage at the prestigious party.
Miley wore a sparkly green and black striped dress, while Liam donned the more classic ensemble of all black. Miley was clearly excited to attend the party. She posted on Instagram Stories, "Ugh hard to sleep! Tooooo stoked for MET tomorrow!" She even apparently got a haircut for the occasion.
The couple married in December 2018 at an intimate ceremony in Tennessee, which they then shared gorgeous photos of on social media. If their excitement for this year's Met Gala is any indication, there will likely be many more to come.
