So, Miley Cyrus And Liam Hemsworth Actually Didn't Get Married

Despite the rumors, Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have not have gotten secretly married just yet. Even so, that doesn't mean she's any less a part of the Hemsworth family.

Liam's older brother, Thor star Chris Hemsworth, appeared on SiriusXM's "Sway in the Morning" radio show on Tuesday and cleared up any reports about his brother and his sister-in-law-to-be. When asked whether or not the pair had made things official, the elder Hemsworth was quick to confirm that no, they had not.

That said, he still loves hanging out with her at family gatherings...except for the fact that she fails to deliver on one thing. "I always expected her to put on show and bang a few songs out, but she never does," he joked. "I'm insisting constantly. I'm like, 'When's the performance coming?' But nah, she's just a lot of fun."

When asked if he had any marriage advice for the younger couple, Chris admits that it's not really his thing to dish out tips. "No. Look, I've asked my mom about marriage and kids and she said, 'Look, we've been doing it for a long, long time that if there was an answer to it, and a way to do it properly, we'd have it figured out. There'd be one book that says here's how to do it,'" the 34-year-old actor, who has been married to Elsa Pataky since 2010, told the radio hosts. "No, he doesn't need my advice."

As for whether or not there even are wedding bells in the future for off-again/on-again Miley and Liam still remains to be seen. In September, Cyrus told The Sun that she doesn't "envision marriage," because she's "24" and hopes she "still [gets] to live a little bit more." And in October, the pair was rumored to be wearing wedding bands, but it was later revealed that the jewelry was meant to symbolize a "promise" rather than an official union.

The "are they or aren't they" whiplash is real, but at least this settles it...for now.
