Miley Cyrus just turned 28, as hard as that is to believe. Seriously, where is the time going?!

To celebrate her big day, the singer gave us all a present in the form of a bunch of adorable home videos edited together from her childhood. “Cheers to another year of Britney Spears and facing fears! YASSSSS! Thank you for makin my life so unbelievably rad! Appreciate you! ☠️⚔️🤘🏼🖤🍒🎸🧸🚬🏍💉🧷🕸🩸🚭⛓🎯 - yes I deleted and uploaded in color cuz it’s my birthday and I can do whatever the fuck I want .... just like I do every other day of the year,” she wrote in the caption on Instagram.

In the clips, tiny Cyrus is seen celebrating birthdays past (in a tiara!), cheerleading (nice jumps!), showing off a “Cool Kid” award, and telling another little kid, “It's my birthday,” in what we've come to know as true Miley style. But perhaps our favorite part is her rendition of Britney Spears's “I'm a Slave 4 U,” which is both cute and hilarious.

Cyrus also posted another throwback video of herself and her dad, Billy Ray, practicing lines. “RUNNIN LINES W DADDY BACK IN THE DAY PRE ROBBY RAY X MILEY STEWART @BILLYRAYCYRUS,” she captioned the clip.

Along with sharing some pieces of her childhood, Miley Cyrus also recently opened up about her sobriety, revealing that she had fallen off the wagon. “Well, I, like a lot of people, being completely honest, during the pandemic fell off and felt really a lot of...and I would never sit here and go, ‘I've been fucking sober,’” Cyrus said during a recent New Music Daily interview, per People. “I fell off and I realized that I now am back on sobriety, two weeks sober, and I feel like I really accepted that time.”

“To me, it was a fuck-up because I'm not a moderation person, and I don't think that everyone has to be fucking sober,” she said. “I think everyone has to do what is best for them. I don't have a problem with drinking. I have a problem with the decisions I make once I go past that level of...I've just been wanting to wake up 100%, 100% of the time.”
