Their Disney days might be far behind them, but the rumored drama between Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato, and Miley Cyrus will live on forever. During the peak Disney days of Hannah Montana, Sonny with a Chance, and Wizards of Waverly Place, the channel had their fair share of girl power, and while many would have loved if the three stars of these shows were caught up in a dramatic feud, Selena, Demi, and Miley have stated many times that things remained amicable between them.

It's not shocking to think that the girls might have fought. They were 16, and going after the same guy. Both Selena and Miley dated Nick Jonas at one point in their Disney Channel days, but Selena insisted in 2016 that the two were never at odds about it.

"We never feuded," she told W Magazine. "We both liked the same guy when we were 16. It was just a Hilary Duff–Lindsay Lohan thing: 'Oh, my God, we like the same boy!' We are now completely settled in our own lives."

Miley even shared this video in March from the 2008 Teen Choice Awards. Selena can be seen rocking out to Miley's hit, "7 Things," which is reportedly about their joint ex.

Three years later, however, the feud rumors are back, thanks to Miley's new song "Cattitude," which features the lyrics, "I love you Selena, but I listen to Demi." Miley went on the Capital FM show "Capital Breakfast" to clear things up.

"I grew up collaborating with Demi and Selena," she said. "There was never any competition."

Of course, there's still the theory that former BFFs Demi and Selena had a major falling out, but if Miley and her new song have taught us anything, it's that we should stop pitting women against each other. "You're allowed to enjoy two artists that fill a similar lane," she says.
