Miley Cyrus Hung Out With Paolo from “The Lizzie McGuire Movie”
You know what they say: you never forget your faves. That’s true of both Noah and Miley Cyrus, who had a chance run-in with a childhood heartthrob — the one and only Yani Gellman, AKA Paolo from The Lizzie McGuire Movie.
According to Noah’s Instagram, the sisters were out for dinner when they spotted Yani and had to snap a few pics. Do you blame them? He was pretty dreamy in the Lizzie movie, even though his character Paolo turned out to be a total phony. (He did teach Lizzie a pretty important lesson, though, so it all worked out.)
“Sing to me Paolo,” Noah captioned the pic of herself and Miley smiling with Yani, along with a snapshot of the two sisters giving Yani kisses on the cheeks. She even added a few throwback pics from the movie to the gallery, including one of Yani in character as the lip-syncing Paolo. He returned the favor by tweeting the pics with the caption, “This is what dreams are made of.”
That’s not all, though. Miley and Noah carried the Lizzie vibes a little bit further by singing the classic “This is What Dreams are Made Of” on Noah’s Instagram Story. Clearly they were (and are) big fans of the movie and its iconic soundtrack.
Even though Miley and Yani aren’t affiliated with Disney any longer and have adult careers of their own (he’s appeared on Pretty Little Liars and the 90210 revamp), it’s cool to see how small the Disney world is.
