Miley Cyrus and Her Boyfriend Maxx Morando Took a Major Step in Their Relationship

Miley Cyrus has plenty to celebrate after the 2024 Grammy Awards. Not only did she take home her very first Grammys, but sources close to the singer say that she and her boyfriend, Maxx Morando, have moved in together and are "very happy." Miley and Morando, who is a drummer for the band Liily, sparked rumors of a possible relationship when they were photographed holding hands in 2021 during the filming of the star's NBC special, Miley’s New Year's Eve Party.
Morando also got a sweet shoutout when Miley accepted her Grammy over the weekend. After she thanked her team and her family, including sister Brandi and mom Tish, who were in the audience cheering, she offered one more thank you to "my love." Miley won the Grammys for Best Pop Solo Performance and Record of the Year for "Flowers."
"She is very happy with him," a source told People of Miley's relationship with Morando. “Miley has changed a lot in the past couple of years. She seems more calm and harmonious. Everyone loves Maxx. He’s a great guy. She is very happy with him. He’s private and doesn’t like being in the press. It’s been good for her.”

Fans may remember that Morando made a cameo on Cyrus's Instagram feed after Gucci's special Love Parade fashion show in Hollywood back in 2021. Morando also accompanied Cyrus to the Versace fashion show in L.A. in March 2023. The two have also worked together. Morando has writing and production credits on "Handstand" and "Violet Chemistry," two tracks from her 2023 album, Endless Summer Vacation.
