Miley Cyrus Had Her Hair Cut Into a Pixie Mullet
Miley Cyrus changed up her hair in quarantine, and the cut is one of the most unique to come out of this era. Miley's mother Tish worked with Miley's hairstylist Sally Hershberger to cut and style Miley's hair into a pixie mullet. Hershberger, People noted, originally cut Miley's hair into a mullet in January.
This time, the final result was a little different than the initial vision Miley had for her hair. “Miley sent me over a picture for inspiration, but this pixie mullet is completely different than the original inspiration photo," Hershberger told the outlet.
Hershberger FaceTimed Miley and Tish, and physically showed Tish what she should be doing as she cut Miley's hair. She generally does this with clients, she said: "Instead of just telling them the step-by-step instructions, I physically do the cut with them. I find that actually demonstrating allows the client to get the best results. [We also] work gradually and take my time with small sections—less is more.”
Ultimately, "Miley loved the final look as much as I did!" Hershberger said. "It’s so cool and daring to mesh together two styles into one that really expresses her own sense of style."

In March 2019, Miley went platinum and had her long hair cut to look like her Disney Channel character Hannah Montana's. Her hair has come a long way one year and two months later.
