Miley Cyrus and Cody Simpson Just Unfollowed Each Other on Instagram Three Months After Breaking Up

Miley Cyrus' last round of unfollowings may have turned out to have been false, but this latest Instagram cleanse is hard to deny. Three months after their split, Miley has seemingly unfollowed her ex-boyfriend, Cody Simpson.

Similarly, Cody is no longer following Miley on the app. In addition, Miley has scrubbed her Instagram feed clean of any evidence of Cody, while Cody has deleted all pictures of Miley aside from last year's birthday post for the singer and a promotion photo for his song, "Golden Thing," which is about Miley.

The unfollows come amid rumors that Cody is now seeing model Marloes Stevens. According to the Daily Mail, while the relationship has not been confirmed, "the pair have been spotted around LA together on several occasions recently."

When she confirmed the breakup in August, Miley said on an Instagram Live that she and Cody have "been friends for 10 years and we’re going to continue to be friends, so just don’t make it something that it is not." Most likely the unfollowing doesn't mean much, just that they needed a break from each other for a little while following the split.
