Miley Cyrus Claims She Was Fired From 'Hotel Transylvania' For Licking A Penis Cake She Bought For Liam Hemsworth
Miley Cyrus has had one hell of a month. Firstly, she and Liam Hemsworth were rumored to have separated. Then they confirmed their separation. Then she was photographed making out with fellow Hot Girl Kaitlynn Carter. Then she and Kaitlynn sent a cheeky lil weed bouquet to Kaitlynn's ex Brody Jenner. Then Liam officially filed for divorce. Now, this.
The most recent revelation came shortly after the Kaitlynn pics, as people immediately accused her of having cheated on her husband. Miley ended up taking to Twitter to clarify that she had not—and never would have—cheated on Liam.
And so began an 11-tweet thread beginning with "I can accept that the life I’ve chosen means I must live completely open and transparent with my fans who I love, and the public, 100% of the time."

After admitting she'd partied hard as a teen (but before getting to the bit about how she "[loves] Liam and always will"), Miley threw this lil guy in there:

Ahead of the 2012 movie, Miley was rumored to be the top pick for the voice of Mavis. In fact, The Hollywood Reporter notes it was a done deal. She was dismissed from the project (which, BTW, has since pulled in more than $1 billion worldwide—this was no small loss for Miley) in February of that year, though no one ever confirmed why she'd been let go.
Miley says it was because on Liam's birthday of that year, she bought him a penis cake and pictures of her licking it went super viral. For further context, 2013 was the year Miley showed up and Did Her Thing at those VMAs. She'd spent the two years prior officially (and successfully!) trying to separate herself from her Disney roots. The Transylvania franchise is a Sony one, but at the end of the day, the rep confirmed they were nervous to have her front such a family-friendly project at that time.
Anyway! Selena Gomez ended up taking the role. And here we are today. What a journey.
