Miley Cyrus sure knows how to make a memorable acceptance speech.

Last night at the 2024 Grammys, the 31-year-old singer won the Song of the Year award for her hit single “Flowers.” While donning a gorgeous Maison Margiela dress, Cyrus said to the crowd, “This award is amazing. But I really hope that it doesn’t change anything because my life was beautiful yesterday.”

“Not everyone in the world will get a Grammy, but everyone in this world is spectacular,” she added. “So please don't think that this is important, even though it’s very important, right guys?”

Cyrus went on to thank everyone who was standing on the stage with her, as well as her loved ones. Before she exited the stage, the Disney alum left the audience (and viewers at home) with a cheeky remark. “I don’t think I forgot anyone,” Cyrus said before adding, “But I might've forgotten underwear..bye!”

Aside from calling out her wardrobe mishap, Cyrus directed a playful comment to the Grammy audience. During the ceremony, the singer took center stage to perform her song “Flowers.” However, she noticed a lack of enthusiasm from the audience and called them out, saying, “Why are you acting like you don’t know this song?”

As a result, people sitting in the audience, including Oprah Winfrey, started to get up and sing along. And if that weren’t enough, Cyrus threw in some ad-libs to the lyrics, such as pointing out her first Grammy win. “I just won my first Grammy!” she said while dancing on stage. (FYI, Cyrus also took home the award for Best Pop Solo Performance for “Flowers” earlier that night.)
