Yes, everyone is talking about The Weeknd's Super Bowl Halftime Show performance today, but please, let's give Miley Cyrus her due as well. The singer performed during the TikTok Tailgate Super Bowl pre-game livestream yesterday afternoon and she really pulled out all the stops.

While dressed as an edgy cheerleader and football player, Miley performed her hits, including, "Party in the U.S.A" and "The Climb," but it was her performance of "Wrecking Ball" that really got fans talking.

In a video posted on Twitter, you can see Miley standing on a platform while singing the track. In the middle, though, she gets super choked up, so much so that she has to take a break a few times. "It never gets easier," she says at one point during the performance.

According to People, she explained what happened to the audience at the event following the song. "Singing that song, 'Wrecking Ball,' about feeling completely broken and shattered...everyone suffering is different, even everyone's threshold of pain," she said. "I wear a lot of glitter and I wear a lot of armor and I also wear my heart on my sleeve, and it gets broken a lot."

It's possible that during the song, Miley was thinking about one of her recent public breakups, or the lyrics were just really getting to her in that moment. I mean, we've all been there.
