Miley Cyrus Acts as Maid of Honor at Mom’s Secret Malibu Wedding

Miley Cyrus, 30, may have a new single on the horizon, but this weekend, her attention was fully devoted to her mother.

On Saturday, August 19, Leticia “Tish” Cyrus, 56, married Australian actor Dominic Purcell, 53, at an intimate ceremony in Malibu, where her second-eldest daughter acted as her maid of honor.

In photos obtained by JustJared, which you can view here, we see that Miley attended the nuptials alongside her half-siblings, Brandi, 36, and Trace, 34.

The wedding was quite an elegant affair, where the bridesmaids wore an icy blue dress, while the groomsmen wore white button-ups to match the groom. In the snaps, we see Miley wearing an asymmetrical dress, with a slit up the right side of the skirt.

Before linking with Purcell, Tish was married to Billy Ray Cyrus, 61, from 1993 to 2022. She gave birth to Brandi and Trace prior to their relationship, but Billy Ray formerly adopted both of them. In turn, Tish became a stepmother to Christopher Cyrus, 31, a child from the “Achy Breaky Heart” singer's previous relationship. During their time together, Tish gave birth to Miley, as well as Braison, 29, and Noah Cyrus, 23. The couple split in 2020 and then Tish filed for a divorce in 2022.

Tish announced her engagement to Purcell only four months prior to this weekend's ceremony. The music manager posted a slideshow to her Instagram, showing off her stunning rectangular-shaped engagement ring. “A thousand times…. YES,” her caption read, along with an emoji of a red heart.

She and Purcell publicly announced their relationship in November 2022. Tish shared a photo to her Instagram Story where she was seen hugging the Prison Break actor by the pool. A month later, she shared a post featuring Purcell to her page, with a caption that read, “Headed into the New Year HAPPY @dominicpurcell wishing everyone a safe and magical New Years Eve!”
