The Baltimore Ravens just made their selection in the NFL Draft-and they had a VIP guest to help them make the announcement.

Miles Taylor is a strength athlete with cerebral palsy who went viral back in February after he posted an Instagram video that showed him deadlifting 200 pounds, more than twice his own body weight.

Taylor also happens to be a Ravens super fan, and he was delighted to officially announce that the team had picked Louisiana Tech edge rusher Jaylon Ferguson. The official account for the Ravens commented "That's our guy!" on the video of the announcement, with NFL Network host Amber Theo adding: "What a moment. What a young man."

"Taylor certainly made everyone proud to be a Baltimore fan tonight," wrote Wola Adeniran at RavensWire.

Taylor was also invited to visit the Ravens training facility earlier this month, where he posted: "Had awesome time working out and chatting with all the players and coaches!! Looking forward to representing the RavensFlock at the @nfl draft!!"

Taylor started powerlifting just over a year ago, after walking into a gym and seeing his friend, Nicolai Myers, lifting Atlas stones. “He’s always been into sports, so I said, ‘Hey, let’s give this a shot,’” Myers said. A trainer and Army veteran, Myers adapted his training regime for Taylor's unique needs and Taylor threw himself into the program "like a fish to water."

“I was so excited to finally hit 200 pounds because it’s been a goal of mine since I started training,” Taylor told Men's Health back in February. “All the hard work I put in paid off at that moment. It was never a matter of if I could do it. It was a matter of when I could do it.”

Taylor and Myers have been friends for years, and Taylor recently accompanied him to the Arnold Sports Festival, where Myers was competing, and got a chance to meet the legend himself, Arnold Schwarzenegger. It was an opportunity for which-like the NFL selection-he says he is "truly grateful."
