Just in case you didn't know, Marvel is rebooting the Fantastic Four and bringing them into the MCU (in their own movie) in 2025.

In fact, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige told EW earlier this year that the film will be the "big pillar of the MCU going forward." So, yeah, the movie has a lot riding on it.

Of course, this is a long-anticipated movie, and people have been fan-casting it for years. Everyone specifically wants to see John Krasinski as Reed Richards (which is why he was cast as a variant of the character in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness).

And while the Fantastic Four is set to begin filming early next year with Matt Shakman (who directed WandaVision) as the director, we still haven't gotten word on who the cast is.

Well, last week, the internet went wild when a rumor circulated around that Mila Kunis had been cast as The Thing. Needless to say, fans were NOT happy.

But, Mila set the record straight during an appearance last Wednesday on The Late Late Show, when asked by James Corden whether she was going to play Sue Storm in the film (which, apparently, is the other rumored role she was set to play).

According to Mila, she had actually just gone to grab lunch with Matt, and seemed confused by the whole thing, saying, "Apparently, if you go to lunch with somebody that is also in the industry, you then start working together, according to the internet."

She then added, "I am not in Fantastic Four, but I know who is. I don’t want to get in trouble with The Mouse, so none of you will find out."
