Mike Johnson and Peter Weber Are ”Dead Even” in Running to Be Next Bachelor
Sources tell TMZ that Mike Johnson and Peter Weber are “dead even” in the running to be the Bachelor.
Tyler Cameon is still in the running as a “distant third,” despite Chris Harrison’s comments to the contrary.
Now that Tyler Cameron is out here dating Gigi Hadid while also dating Bachelorette Hannah Brown, the world NEEDS TO KNOW who will be the next Bachelor. And apparently Hannah’s ex-boyfriends Mike Johnson and Peter Weber are both being considered for the job—and they’re basically neck and neck.
A source tells TMZ that Peter and Mike are “dead even” in contention to be the Bachelor and that Tyler is still “a distant third.” That’s right, it’s still *possible* that Hannah’s runner-up could be picked, and sources say Chris Harrison’s previous comments that he’s out of the running are “just not true.”
That said, Tyler’s not a top choice because producers don’t think he’s sincere. “You may not believe this, but sincerity is really important,” a source says. “The Bachelor has to really want to find love, and Tyler doesn’t really have his heart in it and the audience can see through it.”
Another source adds, “There’s a tremendous amount of juggling that goes into being the Bachelor—lots of balls in the air—and he just doesn’t have it.”
It’s unclear when the next Bachelor will be announced, but chances are it’ll be around the Bachelor in Paradise finale.
