Mikaela Shiffrin, the undeniable GOAT of alpine ski racing, sat down with her partner Aleksander Aamodt Kilde for a quick chat about their careers, inspirations, and plans after skiing.

We don't talk enough about the fact that Mikaela Shiffrin, the best alpine ski racer of all-time, is dating Aleksander Aamodt Kilde, who is arguably the best male downhiller currently in the world.

To say they're a skiing power couple would be the understatement of the century. Fine. I'll say what's on everybody's mind... "Imagine if they have kids!!!"

I've had a particular fascination with Shiffrin and Aamodt Kilde's relationship since it was made public a few years ago. The dynamic of Shiffrin clearly being more talented, more famous, and making more money than her male partner isn't particularly extraordinary for today, but it's still interesting nonetheless.

Shiffrin will kick off this World Cup season with 88 wins to her name. She's poised to continue her dominance over the field, but can she hit 100 wins? We'll be watching.

Aamodt Kilde will look to continue his winning ways from last season. The Norwegian speed specialist added 8 wins to his career tally last season, the most wins he's ever had in a single season. His career win total sits at 20.
